WS-CRDS for Petrochemical Analysis

The petrochemical industry is based on the conversion of hydrocarbon-containing raw material into useful chemical products. Selective and sensitive detection of the concentrations of various gas species is therefore necessary to improve process efficiency. It is important to be able to individually and accurately measure various individual hydrocarbon species within a single process stream, and to be able to do this without measurement interference between species. The inherent interference-free nature of the WS-CRDS method makes it ideally suited to tackle such measurement challenges where single hydrocarbon constituents must be identified and their concentrations quantified among rapidly changing background gas concentrations or among other species that, with conventional analysis techniques, would otherwise be indistinguishable due to multiple interferences.
